A 6-seater uses a 24 inch seat with 5.5 inch arms as standard. The first seat has two full arms (35 inch total), each additional seat adds a shared arm (29.5 inch). Custom 23 or 22 inch seat widths reduce the total at no extra charge — useful to fit a 6-seater in smaller rooms.

💡 Custom seat widths of 22 or 23 inches are available at no extra charge. The seat depth (24 to 22 inches) is imperceptible once seated — all three options feel equally comfortable. Custom sizing is done at our workshop before dispatch; no modification needed at your home.
Which rooms can a 6-seater fit in? Side clearance needs to be at least 6" per side for comfortable entry/exit at the end seats. Below 6" the end seat feels cramped.

A 6-seater with standard 24 inch seats and shared arms is 182.5 inches (15.2 ft / 463 cm) wide. With custom 23 inch seat it is 173 inches (14.4 ft / 439 cm). With custom 22 inch seat it is 167 inches (13.9 ft / 424 cm). No extra charge for custom seat width.
With standard 24 inch seat: minimum 16.2 ft room width (tight at 9 inches per side). With 23 inch custom seat: 15.4 ft minimum (17.5 inch per side in a 16 ft room). With 22 inch custom seat: 14.9 ft minimum (23 inch per side in a 16 ft room). We recommend at least 15 ft wide room for a comfortable 6-seater installation.
Fully reclined depth is 66 inches (5.5 ft / 168 cm) from back wall to footrest tip. Seated (upright) depth is 39 inches (3.25 ft / 99 cm). Back height is 44 inches (112 cm). No wall space required behind the recliner — Sky Recliners need only 6 inches of wall clearance behind the backrest.
